Pressure Washing Services for Sydney Hard Surfaces

Driveways, paths and patios take the worst of Sydney's weather. Our pressure washing uses controlled high-pressure water to lift ingrained dirt, moss, algae, oil and tyre marks from concrete, pavers and brick. We work on hard surfaces at homes, businesses and strata properties across Sydney, leaving them clean, even and far less slippery underfoot.

Before & After: Sandstone Steps in Sydney

Years of moss, leaf litter and algae had left these sandstone garden steps green, slippery and barely visible. A controlled clean lifted the growth without scarring the stone and brought the original honey colour back in a single visit.

How Pressure Washing Works on Concrete and Pavers

Pressure washing works by force rather than chemistry. A controlled stream of water at the right pressure lifts embedded grime out of the pores of concrete, pavers and brick, taking moss, algae, oil stains and tyre marks with it. That matters most on the surfaces you walk and drive on every day, where a build-up of growth turns a path into a slip hazard.

Where Moss Takes Hold on Sydney Paving

Shade is what keeps a Sydney path green. Narrow side passages along the southern boundary see almost no direct sun, sandstone retaining walls and cuttings hold moisture against the ground, and concrete stays damp long after the rain stops. Moss and algae settle into the surface from there, and a garden hose only pushes them around.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to commonly asked questions regarding our business, services and how we transform your property.

Which surfaces can you pressure wash?

Hard surfaces that can take the force: concrete driveways, paved paths, brick, outdoor tile, courtyards, patios and retaining walls. Render, painted timber, cladding and roof tiles cannot, so those are quoted as a soft wash instead. The surface decides the method, not how dirty it looks.

Can you clean sandstone paving and steps?

Yes, at a much lower pressure than concrete. Sydney sandstone is soft and porous, so the setting that cleans a driveway will scour the face of a sandstone flag or step. We test an out-of-the-way section first and work up from there, and we point out any stone that is already flaking before we start.

Will high pressure damage my pavers or concrete?

Not when the pressure is matched to the material. We adjust pressure and nozzle for each surface and use a flat surface cleaner across large areas so the finish comes up even rather than striped. Older pavers with loose jointing sand are assessed first and cleaned at lower pressure.

How often should a driveway or path be pressure washed?

Every one to two years suits a driveway and front path in most cases. Shaded side paths and paving under trees grow moss back faster and are often worth doing yearly. Clearing leaf litter and cutting back overhanging branches slows the regrowth between visits.

How long does a pressure wash take and what does it cost?

A standard driveway and front path is usually a few hours, and larger paved areas or multiple surfaces can run to a full day. Pressure washing starts from $150, with the quote based on the area, the surface type and how heavy the build-up is.

What do you need from me on the day?

Clear access to the area, a working garden tap, and cars, pots and outdoor furniture moved off the surface where possible. We ask that windows and doors along the wash area stay closed, and we rinse down adjacent garden beds and paths before we leave.
